The cells can manage rapid charging ability 2C fast charge 85% within half hour quite safe and can stand high discharge rates (5C~10C). The MarBMS system is developed for Lithium Ion batteries with and output voltage between 16VDC to 60VDC. Battery capacity between 5Ah to 200Ah. Slave units can be added to the system for increasing the voltage up to 750VDC. Suitable for following Lithium Ion technologies: Lithium Cobolt, Lithium Manganese Spinel and Lithium Ferro Phosphate.  Controling 5 to 16 cells in serial Automatic ballancing of cells up to 150Ah Precision single cell voltage measurements Internal logging in histograms and "flight recorder" Fully programmable for field updates or specific OEM requirements. NiMh cells are sold to two different segments. The most popular cell type to day is the AAA NiMH "high top". It is used in Cordless DECT, IP and SKYPE phones. For the consumer cell type, there are also standard chargers available. The Industrial type can be delivered as a standard cell type for normal temperatures, but also high temperature cells are available for harsh environment.

Soft packs are typical used in hand-held equipment, tools, emergency lights, alarm systems and remote base units.
