Our rack systems have been designed for all types of battery models. In designing these easy-to-use racks, all main requirements, such as, strength, flexibility, acid-proof protection have been considered. Easy to move and store. The rack systems are also available for earthquake proof battery installations in Zone1 Zone2A Zone2B Zone3 Zone4. Accessories like electrolyte drip-trays, fuses and boxes are also available.
CLADDED & CUSTOM DESIGN RACKS
The Cladded Rack Types Cladded racks are based on the equivalent open rack and are supplied in kit form for assembly on site. This can be a significant benefit over battery cubicals on sites where access to final location is difficult. Cladded racks can be configured to accept all types of battery, top and front terminal VRLA and NiCd. It's possible to vary certain dimensions, such asinter-tier height and rack depth to achieve good dimensional compatibility with adjacent UPS or switchgear equipment.
Custom Design Racks Together with our manufacturer in UK, we are designing special battery cubicals for Telecom and Industrial market. The cubicals can be equiped with a lot of features and safeties for the specific area and environment. If a battery cubical are going to be installed outdoor in remote area, we are electroplating and coating the cubical to secure against corrosion.
BATTERY WATCH
The battery watch is a vital part for a mobile or remote installation. It increases the battery life, and it has low / high voltage and overload protection. Low voltage detection can easily be adjusted by dip switches. This way any type of lead acid battery can be protected against deep charge. The over voltage protection protects your costly devices against too high voltages. The status of the battery watch is given by a 3 - coloured LED, mounted in the front.
By adding a small external panel switch, the battery watch can be set-up for used as a main switch.
IR-METER
When making service on batteries and battery installations, relay and fuse boxes, ect.. it's sometimes easier to use an Infrared Thermometer to spot the area where there are bad connections in a power string. Lose contacts or defect circuit breakers, will always develop heat, and the best way to trace such a failure is by using an IR-Meter. ZEPIA Energy can now offer a very compact pen-type with an accuracy of 2% and the response time is 1 sec. LCD display in front and with a resolution of 0,2°C.
The pen material is brass with satin chrom coating and the weight is 48g, included the weight of 2 x LR44 batteries. Sensor protection with cap. Auto switch off function after 15 sec.
Because the Infrared Thermometer also are used in the medical and aqua culture industry, it makes it perfect to use for people in the battery service organisations where it's need to meassure electrolyte temperatures.
