| Electrical propulsion systems for sailboats and power boats has been increasing steadily during the last years, and especially now where many harbors, rivers, lakes, inland waterways and recreational areas are required pollution free. That means a traditional combusting engine must be replaced by and electrical engine. ZEPIA Energy are now introducing complete electrical drive train systems from 6kW to 60kW, which means they can replace diesel engines from 12hp to about 100hp. The systems can be delivered with our Lithium Ion batteries, or without batteries if customer would like to use his own battery types. For boats that are used in open ocean and where people are living onboard for many days without entering harbors, we can offer a hybrid solution that covers the propulsion power and household power. |
